Case Study: Sports and Entertainment- Network and Security Services

August 1, 2016

The Challenge

To support the high performing, always-on needs of its new multi-use facility, the customer required a partner who understood how to implement next generation network and security services. To meet its construction timeline, the customer needed a partner who could overcome delays and adapt to stay on schedule.

The Solution

After evaluating the capabilities of several providers, the customer selected Wholestack Solutions because of technical capabilities and its demonstrated ability to deliver in dynamic environments. Wholestack performed a network assessment to determine the customer's business and technical requirements. Based on information collected in its assessment, Wholestack developed a system architecture that met the customer's 5-year demand requirements. Using its Agile/ITIL based deployment methodology, Wholestack deployed the Cisco-based network, data center, and security infrastructure, while continuously adapting to changing conditions related to delivery and construction delays.

Scope, schedule, and budget maintained through the construction project. In addition:
•500 10 Gbps server connections activated in 7 days
•0 +80 Gbps connections activated in 7 days

•Data Center Services activated within 1 week of facility services being activated.
•250 high definition video connections activated in 1 day.
•2,500 wired and wireless access ports activated in 21 days.
